Heads up: this looks like it isn’t a Windows PC. CrateClutch is Windows-only for now — a Mac build is coming. The download will not run on a phone or a Mac; open this page on your Windows machine.

What it does

Paste a name, a Shazam, or a whole playlist. CrateClutch finds the real record and pulls it in.

BPM, key, beat grids and cover art — done in the background, verified byte-for-byte on export.

A USB that just works

Plug in your stick and it syncs — playlists, grids and artwork readable straight on Pioneer gear, no rekordbox required.

Getting started (testers)

  1. Download and keep it. The file is CrateClutch Setup x.y.z.exe, about 170 MB. Edge and Chrome sometimes hold an unfamiliar download — click the download icon and choose Keep / Keep anyway.
  2. Install and open. Windows will warn about an unrecognized app — choose More info → Run anyway. The installer runs for a few seconds, then CrateClutch opens by itself.
  3. Point it at your music. The first-run wizard scans your library in place. It moves nothing.
  4. Claim your USB. CrateClutch never touches a stick you haven’t claimed.
  5. Updates are automatic. The app keeps itself current from this page’s feed.

If nothing opens

  1. Check the file. Right-click the downloaded .exe → Properties. If there is an Unblock checkbox at the bottom, tick it, click OK, and run it again.
  2. Smart App Control. New Windows 11 PCs can block unsigned apps with only a small notification. Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control. If it is On, CrateClutch cannot run until it is turned off (Windows does not let you turn it back on later without a reset — your call).
  3. Antivirus. If the file vanished after downloading, your antivirus quarantined it — restore it and allow it.
  4. Still nothing? Send Rondell a screenshot of what you see plus the folder %APPDATA%\CrateClutch\logs (paste that into the Explorer address bar). If the app did open but shows an error, use Save diagnostics on that screen instead.
